The structure of GYTA optical cable is to put single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers into in a loose tube made of high modulus polyester material. The tube is filled with waterproofing compound. The center of the cable core is a metallic reinforced core. For an optical cable with certain cores, a layer of polyethylene (PE) is required to be extruded outside the metallic reinforced core. The loose tube (and filler yarn) is twisted around the central reinforced core to form a compact circular cable core. The gap in the cable core is filled with water-blocking filler. Plastic coating aluminium strip (APL) is longitudinally wrapped and the polyethylene sheath is added for cabling.

The full-section water-blocking structure, double-sided coated aluminum strip longitudinal wrapping, ensures sound water-blocking and moisture-proof performance;
The loose tube material itself has sound hydrolysis resistance and high strength;
The single steel wire center reinforced core helps to parallel and stretch the optical cable;
The polyethylene (PE) sheath has sound ultraviolet radiation resistance;
The service life is more than 30 years;
The loose tube adopts a full chromatography or a pilot chromatography mark. Viewing from end A of the optical cable, the serial number of the loose tube increases in the clockwise direction. The serial number of the loose tube and its corresponding color shall comply with the following table. When the loose tube is insufficient, use a filler yarn to replace, and the filler yarns are all of natural color.
